BUYING GUIDE
DELTA Pro stations are the high-capacity end of the lineup, designed for home backup and off-grid use. In our catalog the range runs from the DELTA Pro (3,600Wh, 3,600W) and DELTA Pro 3 (4,096Wh, 4,000W) to the DELTA Pro Ultra (6,144Wh, 7,200W) and DELTA Pro Ultra X (12,000Wh, 12,000W).
All of them are expandable. The DELTA Pro grows to 10.8kWh with two extra batteries, the DELTA Pro 3 to 48kWh, the DELTA Pro Ultra to 90kWh and the DELTA Pro Ultra X to 180kWh. That lets you start with the capacity you need today and add batteries as your needs or budget grow.
It helps to be clear about what backup means. Plugging individual appliances into the station works straight away. Powering selected circuits in your home usually goes through a transfer switch or smart home panel, and that installation should be done by a licensed electrician who can check your panel and local code. Most households back up essential circuits such as the refrigerator, lights, internet and a few outlets, rather than everything at once.
Compared with a gas generator, a battery station runs silently, produces no fumes and needs no fuel, but its runtime is limited by battery capacity. Add up the watts of your essential loads and the hours you need to cover, then choose a model with enough output and expandable capacity. These stations are heavy, so plan where they will sit.

It depends on your total electrical load and how it is connected. Most people back up essential circuits, not every appliance at once. Tell us what you need to keep running and we can suggest a model and extra batteries, and a licensed electrician should handle any panel connection.
Add compatible extra batteries. The DELTA Pro reaches 10.8kWh with two extra batteries, and the DELTA Pro 3 can reach 48kWh. See the extra batteries on our accessories page for what fits each model.
It can cover the same essential loads without fuel or exhaust fumes. The trade-off is that runtime depends on battery capacity, so long outages need expandable capacity or solar recharging.
The DELTA Pro weighs about 99 lb and the DELTA Pro 3 about 60 lb. The Ultra models ship as an inverter plus separate batteries and weigh more in total. Each product page lists exact weights.
