Batteries and cold weather don't mix well, and power stations are no exception. None of this means a power station is a bad fit for winter use, it just means a few habits matter more once temperatures drop.
Battery chemistry slows down in low temperatures, which shows up as reduced runtime and, in some cases, a station that won't charge at all below a certain temperature until it warms up. This isn't a defect, it's how lithium batteries behave generally, and it's temporary: performance returns to normal once the unit warms back up.
Charging a battery that's genuinely cold, not just chilly, can cause more strain than discharging one does. If your station has been sitting outside or in an unheated garage, it's worth letting it come up to a more moderate temperature indoors before plugging it in, rather than charging it straight from the cold.
If a station is going into storage for the season, rather than being used through winter, store it somewhere temperature-stable, not a freezing garage or a hot attic, and check the charge level periodically rather than assuming it'll hold indefinitely. A battery stored fully depleted for months tends to fare worse than one checked and topped up occasionally.
